Plantation of Jamun tree park at Collectorate complex:
The plantation aimed to adhere the theme of world environment day – “Land restoration, desertification, and drought resilience”. Around 2 acres of degraded land has been identified inside the collectorate complex, restored and plantation is done considering long term benefits to conserve biodiversity. 37 native breed saplings are planted which will become an abide for many birds in future.
