Unleashed The Book: “Theni District Forest Fire Management plan”:
It is the first of its kind initiative jointly developed by DD- Megamalai division and DFO, Theni Forest Division. This book entails detailed analysis of Forest fires for the last 20 years that happened in Theni district with management plans to handle Forest fire in multipronged approach involving various stakeholders. The respected District Collector released the book at the World Environment Day celebration event held at District Collectorate.
