THENI SOCIETY FOR NATURAL HISTORY (TSNH)
Theni Society for Natural History is created on World Environment Day – 05/06/2024 celebration event held at District Collectorate. It is an institution headed by The District Collector to encourage volunteers from various platforms to work in environmental fronts. It is a government run society with public participation for environment education and nature conservation.
Vision:
To create a platform where natural ecosystems of Theni district are explored, preserved and restored, ensuring a sustainable and healthy environment for future generations.
Mission:
Aim to instil a habit of commitment towards nature among younger generation, to encourage the responsible use of natural resources, promote harmonious relationship between human and nature and to foster a culture of sustainability among individuals and communities.
